Presentation of Radenci

The municipality of Radenci is well known for the mineral water sources and spa. It is so well known that the name of the mineral water (adjective form of the community name - Radenska) was a general usual name for mineral water probably in the whole former Yugoslavia. The symbol of the mineral water are three red hearts, but that commercial symbol was not used in the municipal symbols.

Municipal flag of Radenci

The coat of arms and the flag of Radenci are prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi Občine Radenci, adopted on 10 May 1997, signed on 13 May, and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, nr. 31, 30 May 1997, pp. 2818-20, with effect on 13 June 1997.

Article 10. The flag of the Municipality of Radenci is yellow and green, with the coat of arms axially set in both fields. The ratio of the height V against length L (V:L) is 1:2, so that the flag field is divided into yellow upper and green lower field, so that each of the two is 50% of total flag width.[...] In case of horizontal hoisting, the flag is made so that it is turned rectangularly on the horizontal line. [...] The coat of arms is turned right when the flag is hoisted on it first edge on vertical line. [...]
