The flag and arms of Radeče are prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi Občine Radeče, adopted on 23 June 2004 and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 91/2000, 16 August 2004.

The coat of arms of Radeče is the historical coat of arms of the town of Radeče, "Azure five dices argent dotted sable, 4-1-5-2-3".
The temporary Statutes of the Municipality of Radeče, adopted on 14 January 1995, already prescribed the use of the coat of arms of the town of Radece as the municipal coat of arms. The Statutes prescribed that the coat of arms and flag shall be determined by a further Decision.
Valvasor's Armorial (XVIIth century, now in Zagreb National Library) gives an other coat of arms for Radeče, "Gules three lozenges argent per bend".
