Description of flag

The flag of the Parliament of Singapore is flown outside Parliament House, second to the National Flag. The Parliament of Singapore is an Organ of State in the Singapore government system.

The flag is white with the logo of the Parliament of Singapore. The logo of Parliament is the full State Arms at the centre, with the text "Parliament" in an arc above the arms, a simplified depiction of the Mace in yellow laid horizontally beneath the arms, and the text "Singapore" below it. Texts are all in capital letters.

The actual physical Mace of the Parliament of Singapore is topped with a winged lion carrying a trident.. The staff of the mace is embossed with lion heads and Chinese junks in full sail. The base of the mace is a ring of fish sporting among the waves. [from the publication, The Parliament of the Republic of Singapore, (Parliament of the Republic of Singapore, Singapore, 1997), p. 29]. On the parliament logo and flag, the mace is simplified to show only the winged lion and trident without the other elements.
