About the flag

Another image in the official website implies that the actual color shades of green and blue are much more sensible than in the images shown on the symbols page.
António Martins, 16 Jan 2006

Description and explanation of the symbols are given in this website. The tree and the roll of paper symbolized the Kotlass Celulose-Paper Kombinat. In upper right is the church, built on the place of the former monastir, and the blue line is the river Vychegda.
Valentin Poposki, 16 Jan 2006

An economy page of the official website it is shown that paper industry is one of the main activities in this area.

I wander if actual flags show that 3D look to the arms shield…
Jorge Candeias, 16 Jan 2006

Ralf Hartemink’s site has the arms with the same basic design, slightly different rendering (shield only).
