The coat of arms is or, a five arched bridge argent, masoned sable, over three wavy fess azure, argent, azure, in chief, two trees vert. "Ponte de" means "bridge of", which is depicted on the coat of arms; Sor is the local river, a tributary of the Tagus, for which the wavy fess stands.
