Arms and flag adopted on November 29, 2008
Arms: a shield divided into four parts:
* right upper part - red cross of Saint Andrew - patron of the village
* left upper part - a sword on red background - relates to the fact
the village belonged to several Brandenburgian knights in the past; red
is a symbol of blood.
* right lower part - a black bull symbolizing the livestock of the
village and also, the bull is the symbol of sacrifice and fertility.
*left lower part - an eagle of Brandenburg - relates to the history
of the village, originally a part of Neumark.
Flag: red cross of Saint Andrew on the white and green background.
White and green recall the contemporary name of the village - Białęgi
= "white marshes", where the green stands for the marshes and meadows of
the village.
The Arms and the flag were adopted to promote the village, and, according
to the village leader, Ms.Grazyna Gawron, it works well so far.
