Gmina Iława is a rural gmina (commune) in Iława County, Warmian-Masurian
Voivodship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the town of Iława, although
the town is not part of the territory of the commune.
Area: 423.55 sq,km (163.5 sq.mi); Population: 11,828 (2006)
Arms and flag adopted on January 31, 2003 (resolution # IV/28/2003).
"Arms: shield divided in slant by the yellow stripe.
On the upper , blue field there are two silver sails.
On the lower, green field there are three golden wheat stalks.
Flag: rectangular yellow band bordered on both sides by narrower blue
bands with the Arms placed in the center of yellow field. Ratio is 5:8."
