I'm just "walking" through your flag web site. It is really interesting.
I'd like to send you another: municipal flag of city of Jastrzebie Zdroj
(county of the same name - this city is a county for itself only). Jastrzębie
Zdrój is a town of 100 thousand inhabitants situated at the foot of the
Beskidy Mountains, in the southern part of the Upper Silesian, near the
border with Czech Republic. In 1859 while driving exploratory boreholes
for coal, saline deposit has been found. In 1861 the first spring house
was opened. The health resort experienced its full bloom and splendour,
when dr Mikołaj Witczak was its owner. In those days set of a health resort
enriched itself the next buildings and the spa quickly became one of the
most exclusive resorts in Europe. Outbreak of World War Two stopped development
of the health resort. After World War Two, buildings were restored and
the health resort was set on foot again. In 1951 intensive geological searches
brought about discovery the large seams of pit-coal. In the years 1962
to 1974 five coal mines were built. Jastrzębie Zdrój received city rights
in 1963.

I found a flag of Jastrębie Zdrój in "Godlo i Barwa Polski Samorzadowej",
Katowice, 1998. I don't know whether that is a real flag or a proposal.

The previous version was with a gold drop (nowadays white) and the hammers.
The author of the arms is Szymon Kobylinski. The city was founded in 1963(?)
year connecting some villages. The sign shows stylized hawk ("Jastrzebie"
is a Polish word for "hawks" or "hawk's"), a drop symbolizes the history
of the city. Jastrzebie area was (is, but not so important nowadays) a
spa. There was railway line straight to Vienna, Austria several tens of
years ago. The drop used to be gold on the arm. The hammers say the Jastrzebie
is a city of coal-mines. Also the colors. They come from history and coal-mining.
The hawk is black due to a story about middle-ages prince Czarny Jastrzab
(Black Hawk) and colors of coal-mining.
