Skórcz - rural commune, Starogard County, Pomorskie Voivodship - German name: Skurz.
Gmina Skórcz is a rural gmina (commune) in Starogard County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the town of Skórcz, although the town is not part of the territory of the commune.
Area: 96.63 sq.km (37.3 sq.mi); Population: 4,567 (2006)

Arms and flag adopted on March 6, 2003 (resolution # IV/26/2003).
"Arms: stylized golden wheat stalk on the green background formed in the shape of the contour of the forest.
In the upper left part of the shield, on the yellow background, is a red sun setting down over the forest. Within the sun's disc is a black starling (Sturnus vulgaris) related to the history of the town of Skórcz.

Flag:a rectangle divided horizontally into two halves: yellow over green with the Arms placed in the center."
