name: Przodkówó; old German name: Seefeld.
Gmina Przodkowo is a rural gmina (commune) in Kartuzy County, Pomeranian
Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Przodkowo,
which lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-east of Kartuzy and
23 km (14 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Area: 85.39 sq.km (33.0 sq.mi); Population: 6,950 (2006).
Village of Przodkowo is a site of small Firefighters' Museum.
Arms and flag adopted in 2003 (exact date not available).
"Arms: an image of the swimming black griffin with the right arm raised
and the left one holding a wheel with the letter "P" (white) inside (on
the blue background).
