Cmolas commune flag

Cmolas - rural commune, Kolbuszowa County, Podkarpackie Voivodship.
First mentioned in 1472. Gmina Cmolas is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Kolbuszowa County, Subcarpathian Voivodship, in south-eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Cmolas, which lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Kolbuszowa and 35 km (22 mi) north-west of the regional capital Rzeszów.
The commune covers an area of 134.06 square kilometres (51.8 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 7,874.

Arms and flag adopted on December 28, 2006 (resolution # III/19/06).
"Arms: on the red shield a golden pine tree.
On its right an inverted horseshoe with a cavalier cross inside, all gold.
On its left a silver griffin.

Flag: a rectangle in the ratio of 5:8 divided into three uneven horizontal bands in the proportions of 1:3:1 and colors: red-yellow-red. The yellow band is the widest
and there is a Coat of Arms of the commune located centrally on it."

Cmolas commune used a completely different, Brazilian-style (?) flag prior to 2006.
