Prudnik County (Powiat Prudnicki), Opolskie vojvodship, consists of the communes (gminy) Biała, Głogówek, Lubrza, Prudnik.
Prudnik County (Polish: powiat prudnicki) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Opole Voivodship, south-western Poland, on the Czech border. It was created on January 1, 1999 as a result of the Local Government Reorganization Act of 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Prudnik, which lies 46 kilometres (29 mi) south-west of the regional capital Opole. The county also contains the towns of Głogówek, lying 21 km (13 mi) east of Prudnik, and Biała Prudnicka, 11 km (7 mi) north-east of Prudnik.
Area: 571.16 sq.km (220.5 sq.mi); Population: 59,931 (2006).

New Arms and flag adopted on September 29, 2008 (resolution # XXII/176/08).

"Arms: on a shield divided in slant into three color fields: red,silver and blue, a golden,crowned eagle of the Piast principalities.

Flag: a rectangle built of three slanted, descending fields: red-white-blue with the yellow (golden) eagle placed in the middle.
The ratio of the flag is 5:8."

Prudnik County (Polish: powiat prudnicki) is a powiat (county) in Poland, in Opole Voivodeship (Polish: Opolskie). This county adopted new symbols on 30 November 2005 by County Council. (Old German name: Polnisch-Neustadt, 1708-1945 Neustadt in Oberschlesien).
