Serock commune flag

Serock is in Legionowo county, 30 km north of Warsaw. The Town and Commune colours are light blue, white and red arranged in parallel strips. The top one, which takes up seven twelfth of the flag's width, is blue. There are three other strips: golden, white and red, each of them taking up one twelfth of the width. The bottom strip is blue and takes up 1/12 of the width. The colours make components of the Town and Commune's flag. The flag of the Town and Commune is a rectangular piece of fabric in official colors situated at the top of the mast in front of the seat of local authorities. The flag is raised in front of seats of local authorities' organs, however, on the occasion of holidays, celebrations and local anniversaries flags are also put up on other buildings in public places to emphasise the solemn character of the days. The emblem of Serock is also the emblem of the Town and Commune of Serock. There is a figure of St. Adalbert situated against light blue background. St. Adalbert holds a gold crosier in his right hand while the left one is bent and rests on his chest. St. Adalbert is wearing a golden chasuble with red strip in the middle. The bottom part of the attire is white. The face and hands are white, feet golden. On the right side of the Saint Patron there is the capital "S", which stands for "Sanctus", on the left "A" as a symbol of the word "Adalbertus".
The emblem is put up in offices and conference rooms belonging to organs of the commune, as well as in other communal possessions.
