Niedrzwica Duża - rural commune, Lublin County, Lubelskie Voivodship.
Gmina Niedrzwica Duża is a rural gmina (commune) in Lublin County, Lublin Voivodship, in eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Niedrzwica Duża, which lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) south-west of the regional capital Lublin.
Area: 106.82 sq.km (41.2 sq.mi); Population: 11,034 (2006).

First mentioned in 1374 as a settlement. Establishment of the village (Niedrzwica Kościelna) in 1417.
The commune supports itself with agriculture, services and light industrial production.
During WW II, the Germans began to build a railroad link. It was never finished - only the embankments remain.
Soccer (football) team: GKS "Orion".
