The Arms and flag were adopted by the Commune Council's resolution
# IX/51/95 on May 3, 1995
"Arms are like those of the City of Miedzyrzec
Podlaski with the addition of the representation of two golden rivers,
slanted to the right in upper left and lower right corners of the shield.
Civic flag is composed of three equal horizontal bands:
upper - silver (white)
middle - gold (yellow)
lower - light-blue
Ceremonial flag is a variation of the civic one with the Arms placed
in its center."
