Gmina Łaziska is a rural commune in Opole Lubelskie County, Lublin
Voivodship, in eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Łaziska, which
lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) west of Opole Lubelskie and 50 km
(31 mi) west of the regional capital Lublin.
Area: 109.32 sq.km (42.2 sq.mi); Population: 5,262 (2006).
Land under cultivation - 66.7 %; forests - 22.3 %.
People there grow strawberries, cherries, apples, raspberries, blueberries,
gooseberries, and other fruits and vegetables,
for sale at markets and produce exchanges.
