Chełm county flag

The county is subdivided into 15 communes (Polish: gmina), one urban commune and 14 rural communes. (Gmina Rejowiec belonged to Krasnystaw County until
2006.):

On 10 July 2008 the new symbols of the Chełm County were presented to the public. The official adoption of a law is the future.

The proposed symbols of Chelm County are official. On 24 April 2009 the County Council adopted the law about County Coat of Arms, flag and seal.
