LAGOW (pronounced "Wa'goof") Commune - Swiebodzin County - Lubuskie Voivodship
(there is another Lagow Commune in Kalisz County, Swietokrzyskie Voivodship,
which has a Coat of Arms, but no flag, yet)
Paragraph 3 of the Commune Statute says:
" 1. Coat of Arms of Lagow Commune was adopted in 1808.It is a silver (white)
cross of the Knights of Malta on the red shield in Spanish style
<(It looks like the worldly Lagow has connections all over the old
continent)>
2. The flag of Lagow Commune is white with the Coat of Arms in the center."
Zalacznik nr 2 (Addendum #2) in the middle of the page illustrates
both the Coat of Arms and the flag in full color ( or two).
The law was passed by the Commune Council on August 28, 2000.
