- former German name: Wansen.
The Law says: "Arms of the Commune is the head of Saint John the Baptist
inside a round plate, on a red field. In the upper corners of the shield
are two lilies - white with thin black borders.
The head is white with black hair and beard, the plate is yellow with
double black contour.
The flag is yellow-red-white in a horizontal tri-band of equal widths.
The ratio is 5:8.
It is permitted to place the Arms in the middle of the flag.

According to the city regulation available here
and the annexure Nr. 3 showing the flag, only the central element of coat
of arms can be placed in the middle of the flag not the whole shield.
