Szczawno-Zdrój commune, Walbrzych County, Dolnoslaskie Voivodship - former German name: Ober Salzbrunn (until 1935) Bad Salzbrunn (1935-45); former Polish name: Solice Zdrój (1945-46)

Law of the City, dated 2000, states: "The Coat of Arms is a green shield with the simplified image of a spa pavillon in center, in white color, covered with a red dome, and a tower with open gate (gold); inside it a ladle (for scooping up the mineral water), silver (white) on a black/gray background.

The flag of Szczawno-Zdrój is composed of horizontal bands. Top and bottom green, then in the middle - white, which is double the width of the green ones; in the center of the white band the City's Arms are placed."
