L. Smit & Co's Internationale Sleepdienst has become Smit International and this original flag was replaced around 1971 with a blue flag bearing a yellow chain link design [see Josef  Nüsse's site).

Smit-Lloyd, Rotterdam, as pictured by Loughran (1979) [lgr79]: blue flag, white cross, in center on white a red diamond. Smit-Lloyd was an associate of Smit international.
