Zemaiciu Kalvarija (Plunge District) - on a silver field upon
green a three-hill with a wavy silver stripe a red chapel between
two red Latin crosses. Flag proportions 10:11, free edges
bordered with a narrow tight silver stripe, finial is a silver
tip. The charge symbolizes the famous Way of the Cross (and
the name of town means "Samogitian Way of Cross"), the
chapel refers to teh 19 chapels of the Way (the front picture is
of chapel on St. John's Hill), the three-hill means the hills
where all the chapels are located, and the silver stripe refers
to the Cedronas rivulet.
