Overview

Vieksniai (Mazeikiai District) - on a blue field a golden royal crown with red top and below three 8-pointed stars one silver over two golden. Flag proportions 1:1, free edges bordered with a golden stripe, finial is a golden knob. The charge of arms granted in 1792 can be explained only partially: the royal crown means a royal town (i.e. not privately owned), but the meaning of stars is not known (there's a hypothesis about some relations with the arms of noble Karpis family, but it has no sufficient argument).
