Overview

Gaure (Taurage District) - on a red field with a green bordure on the free edges the arms of Gaure: a growing oak and an orb. Flag proportions 5:6, finial is a silver knob. The oak symbolizes the fortitude and resolution of the local people in the fight for freedom, a few slashed branches symbolize losses in the fight, the orb symbolizes revival and justice.
