Joniskis (and Joniskis District as well) -
on white field the arms of Joniskis: St. Michael slaying dragon,
- decorated with crossed silver branches of laurel. Flag
proportions 1:2, fringe is silver, finial is silver lily with
silver bands, staff is white. The arms granted in 1616 by King
Sigismund Vasa should symbolise the fight against Protestantism:
the Vasa dynasty especially liked such usage of St. Michael
symbolics.
