Overview

Pajevonys (Vilkaviskis District) - on blue field over green threehill two golden bells. Flag proportions 5:6, free edges bordered with tight golden strip, finial is golden knob with two rings. The charge reminds that once the local church had two bell-towers with bells "St. John" and "St. Joseph", but bells were taken by German occupational regime during World War I, and the towers were destroyed by German army in World War II. So the bells hanging on heaven symbolize the losses of past.
