Overview

Silavotas (Prienai District) - on green field the arms of Silavotas: three little pines. Flag proportions 5:6, fringe is golden, finial is golden knob. The arms is canting: "silavotas" means "pinewood" in Lithuanian. Also it reminds the merits of local priest A. Radusis for town development: one of his numerous initiatives was planting the pinewood of 12000 pines, which is the adornment of town now. Number of pines on arms also symbolizes three lads from Silavotas who were among the first warriors of Lithuania died for independence.
