Overview

Naujoji Uta (Prienai District) - on black field with red hoist separated by line of flames silver glassblower. Flag proportions 10:11, free edges bordered with silver strip, finial is silver knob with silver bands. The charge reflects the origin of village as glass factory: Lithuanian "uta" comes from Polish "huta", meaning "smeltery".
