Overview

Islauzas (Prienai District) - on red field with green bordure on free edges the arms of Islauzas: bear breaking oak. Flag proportions 5:6, finial is silver tip, staff is dark grey. The arms reflects the local folk tale about the name of borough: once a great bear has broken wood and made place for first settlements ("islauzas" means "place with many broken trees" in Lithuanian).
