Overview

Simnas - on silver background St. Paul. Flag proportions 5:6, free edges bordered with tight red strip, fringe is silver, finial is silver lance head with silver bands. The charge of arms granted in 1626 symbolizes the name of Povilas Sapiega, the vice-chancellor of Lithuania, who got the city rights for Simnas from King Sigismundus Vasa.
