Blue, divided by a silver wavy band (representing the
brook Esche).
Jan Oskar Engene 11 Apr 1996, quoting
[kra81]
The arms are azure with a silver dove, with red feet,
holding in its beak a red piece of wood. At the bottom
appears a silver wave. The silver dove holding a red
piece of wood appears in the arms of the covent of
Pfaefers who owned the church in Eschen. The arms were
adopted on 16 April, 1942.
Pascal Vagnat, 21 Nov 1995
The decree actually says «a bloody piece of wood».
Ralf Stelter, 21 Mar 2001
