Damyang County, Chollanam-do (South Korea)

Damyang is a city rich with cultural history, events and places. There are a lot of famous ancestors from the history in Damyang. Among these people, Myunangjung Pavilion, Songgangjung Pavilion and Sikyungjung Parvilion are the one who led literary works in Korean history. In addition to these spectacular historical points, there is a famous bambooware museum which is the only one in Korea. Damyang is located with nature of superb scenic beauty which makes people have relax such as Chuwol mountain, Gamagol, Gumsung mountain and so on. This is the reason why many of people who live in urban areas get attracted to visit. Futhermore, there is various nice food and fruits, especially current tomatos and strawberries, farmed by well developed agricultural skills traditionally.

I had this image in my to-do folder.

The flag is dark green with a white circular device above the lettering "담양군" (Damyanggun), also in white. This seems to be a former flag of Damyang County.
