Overview

The flag of the City of Verona. is Light blue (B -) charged with gold (Au) cross.
Gianluca Peron, 4 November 2002

Verona is the capital of Verona Province in Veneto. While visiting this city, I noticed that the flag above old city gates (photo by Eli Gutterman) and at city hall is 1:2.
Dov Gutterman, 15 October 2004

The flag is blue with a yellow cross throughout [1]. The blue is indeed, as described, a light shade. The proportion of the flag at the places I have seen it, was 2:3 (perhaps 3:5), never 1:2. I do not know if the width of the cross arms is somewhere regulated. However, they differed somewhat, between 1/6 and 1/5 of the flag width.
For my image I chose 1/6 and colours similar to the ones shown on CISV website [2]. These are also pretty close to my own observations [3].
