Overview

Montegrotto Terme is a small town where my family and me stayed for a short while a few years ago (Padua can easily be visited by bus, Venice by car).  It is a well-known spa (watering place). The Coat of Arms is azure two crossed keys or above a mount argent; `mount' in the Italian rendering plus common embellishments: civic crown, wreath etc.
Flag description: "Drappo formato da tre fasce poste una sopra le altre; la prima in alto d'azzurro, la seconda di giallo, la terza di bianco...", apparently adapted by city resolution on 22 July 1991. This is the flag as I saw it inside the communal building (not accessible at the time): three horizontal stripes, blue above yellow above white. The blue was rather dark as I remember; the colours in any case recall the arms. In addition a gonfalone is partly visible in the second photo (top of page), at <www.jugozapad.mostar.com> celebrating, as it seems, the ties between Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Montegrotto Terme.
