Description of the Flag

"The People's Navy" is a group of sailing activists supporting the claims of the Chagossians to their homeland.

On 3 December 2007, the new flags of the People's Navy were presented, as shown on a photo available on the group's website. The first flag is the Chagos flag already shown on the FOTW website, confirming that the colour of the upper field is actually orange and not red. The second flag is the specific flag of the People's Navy. The flag is white with the group's emblem in the middle.

The emblem of the People's Navy is a disk horizontally dovided by a light green horizontal stripe. The lower half of the disk is blue, while its upper half is yellow with an orange and red border.
