Description of the flag

A UN blue flag with a white wreath and centred a pair of scales.

The International Criminal Court, a new judicial organ established to try war criminals and other offenders, recently replied to an e-mail I sent regarding a flag and seal:

"The ICC will study and analyze proposals regarding logos and flags in the next future. This information will be posted on the website."

The status of this flag is considered uncertain.

There are a few clues that there might be an ICC flag consisting of the emblem (without circle) on a UN blue background, see the ICC Newsletter, No. 7, April, 2006, pages 2 and 8:
http://www.icc-cpi.int/library/about/newsletter/files/ICC-NL7-200604_En.pdf. Unfortunately, we cannot see the flag folded out properly in these photos, and the emblem is obscured in one of them, so further confirmation and documentation is needed. However, the photographs referred to above might bring us a step further towards answering the question of the ICC flag.
