The State of Kotah has a swallow-tailed red fled with the "Garuda" in the
center; two flags are used with differing dimensions.

The Kotah state flag has a Garuda - a mythical bird or vulture, half-man,
half-bird, on which Vishnu (supreme God of the Hindus) rides. He is the king of
birds, a great enemy of serpents. He is represented as having the head, wings,
talons and beak of an eagle, and the body and limbs of a man.
