The Jewish Agency for Israel was establish in 1929 as The
Jewish Agency for Israel-land in order to coordinate the various
Zionist and Jewish organizations, but in time it become to be the
executive body of the World Zionist Federation and later become
to be the de-facto government of the Jewish population in
Palestine-Israel-land.
As Israel became independent in 1948, it removed this role to the
government of Israel and now it deals with new-immigrants,
education and settling.
Its flag is white with its logo and below it its name in Hebrew
and English. Logo can be seen at <www.jafi.org.il>.
