Description

Local Council Shibli-Umm Al-Ghanam is situated on the slops of Mount Tavor (Tabor) in the Lower Galilee and got 4,000 inh., all Bedouins. The information that I obtained is that the flag is white with emblem (blue or multicoloured or both). This information needs further confirmation so the flag is only probable. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut HaPirsumim), YP 3910, 8 August 1991.

It is a unification (1992) of two Bedouin villages. Shibli (Local Council from 1984) and Umm Al-Ghanam (est. 1940, recognized 1982). Together 4,500 inh.
