Description

Local Council Bu'eine Nujeidat is situated on the northern slopes of Mount Tur'an, in SE Bet-Netofa Valley. A Local Council from 1987 with 5,800 inh, all Muslims. In my visit I spotted a white flag with emblem, but was unable to tell out the colour of the emblem due to wind conditions. The municipal emblem has not been published in the official gazette (Rashumot) and is thus unofficial.

Nujeidat (named after Najed in Saudi-Arabia), was founded by veterans soldiers of Arab al-Nujeidat tribe that served in Salah-A-Din army.
