Bársonyos is a village in Komárom-Esztergom County in
Hungary near to Town of Kisbér (10
km north-west) in the Little Hungarian Plains. The village has
got 881 inhabitants (1990 census) nearly all of them are
Hungarians. Neighbouring settlements are: Mezöörs, Táp,
Tápszentmiklós, Bakonybánk, Bakonyszombathely and Kerékteleki villages.
In 1910 Bársonyos was a village in the Zirc district of
Veszprém County. In1950 the village allocated to Komárom
County. The flag, the CoA and the seal were adopted in 20th
August 2000.
