Overview

Picture and description (in Hungarian) about the flag and the Coat of Arms at <korosnet.externet.hu>.
István Molnár, 8 March 2001

Translated from that site: "Flag - The community of Uszod's flag and banner are rectangular in shape (2:3). The field is blue and green, divided from the left [upper hoist] by a gold stripe. [The original word translated to "bandage, dressing"] In the centre of the flag and banner is the Coat of Arms of the settlement.  On the ceremonial flag (reverse), besides the above, the name of the community and the year number "2000" also appear.  The free edges are trimmed in gold [thread]. The corners are decorated with golden tassels."
Georges G. Kovari, 24 March 2001
