The new
statutes (Statut Opcine Sali, 17.07.2009, Slubeni
glasnik Zadarske upanije, br. 17/2009, 27.08.2009) includes
a "default" article regarding the community symbols
(Art. 4), neither providing hint that there are some nor that
there aren't. The web sites do not provide us with any additional
info. One should note the "logo" of Sali that is
available on various sites collecting the vectorized logos. It is
a symbl that might have been adopted as the
community emblem at one point (possibly even before 1990's), but
is far from the usual heraldic templates. I found no indication
that the community is using it today. The logo authorship is
ascribed on some of such sites to Nikola Milic, although this may
simply be the name of the "vectorizer" (eg. <www.brandsoftheworld.com>).
The logo displays in a shield shape a fishing boat on two wavy
line, in base two fishes swimming away from each other and an
eight pointed star in the top sinister, as well as inscription
SALI in the Glagolitic (Old Croatian) script.
