Pakoštane is a community in the Zadar County, about 30 km
southeast of Zadar, situated between
the coast and the Vransko lake that is just a few km inland from
the coast. Almost 4,000 inhabitanst, just over 2,000 in the small
town of the same name.
The materials of Heraldic-art
show a depiction of the Coat of Arms of Pakoštane, but
unfortunately uncoloured only: an unicorn rampant in a shield.

The local newspapers inlcude an artcile
where the table flags of Pakoštane can be seen, and the
large official flag is in the background.
The Coat of Arms is azure a unicorn rampant or.
The flag is light blue with the coat of arms bordered yellow in
the middle.
