Overview

The community of Okrug is in the Split and Dalmatia County, situated on the island of Ciovo, just off the coast of the city of Trogir, where it is connected to it by a bridge, occupying the western part of the island. In 1997 it was established by secession from the city of Trogir. It has about 3,000 inhabitants in two villages named Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji, the first being also the seat of the administration.
The Coat of Arms of Okrug is shown on the Heraldic Art pages as one of the recently adopted Coat of Arms, so I guess it must have been adopted in 2007, of course, designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o.
The coat of arms of Okrug is: azure a seahorse gules surounded in cheif with two daisies argent seeded or.

At the web site at <www.ezadar.hr> one may found a photo of an event in the Zadar County premises where official representative of Okrug were present, and the table flag is visible. From it we may quite confidently conclude that the official flag is light blue with the yellow bordered coat of arms in the centre of it.
The table flag is in form of a triangularly ending ceremonial flag, with the coat of arms in the centre, the name of the community above and golden branches below.
One should also notice the Zadar county ceremonial flag partially visible in the backgound, and a County table flag of the normal design as if for horizontal hoisting.
