Imotski is a city in the Split-Dalmatia County way inlands
(well, there is no much way inlands there, after all) on the
border towards Bosnia & Herzegovina, population about 12,000,
some 4,000 in the city itself. It is located about 60 km almost
due east of Split.
The Coat of Arms is historical and traditional and is to be seen
in several artistic variaions: Azure a tower argent on mounts
gules and in chief a mullet or and in base a crescent or.
I have found no info on flag as yet.

As Tomsilav ipek noted, on <www.imotski.hr>
there are several photos on which the flag is seen in the
assembly hall. The flag is vertically hoisted white flag
with the Coat of Arms in the middle.
In the mean time I took the opportunity to check in the Laovski
book [lsv39]. He claims (and I see
not reason to doubt it) that the Coat of Arms has been granted in
1890 by the Minister of Interior (I guess that was the usual
practice back then). Also, Laovski notes that prior to this
Coat of Arms, Imotski used a Coat of Arms showing the depiction
of St. Francis of Asizi.
