Overview

The new Statutes (Statut opcine Stara Gradiška, 22.09.2009, Službeni vjesnik Brodsko-posavske županije, br. 14/2009, 13.10.2009) include descriptions of the Coat of Arms and the flag. Weather this was already included in the previous statutes (SV BPŽ 11/01, 4/03 and 3/06), I do not know, as they are not available on line, but I believe that they were not. I was unable to find any depiction of these symbols yet, but here is how they are described.
The Coat of Arms of Stara Gradiška is azure a fish nainaint or above a "hunting sentry tower" argent issuant from the base.
The hunting sentry tower, for the lack of better translation, is a wooden structure where hunters wait for the pray (usually boars and stags), see wikipedia. It is known in German as Hochsitz and Jagdsitz, also Hochstand.
