Overview

The community of Podcrkavlje is in the Slavonski Brod-Posavina County some 10 km north of Slavonski Brod. About 2,700 inhabitants, although the main village of the same name county only about 300 inahbitants.
The statutes of the community issued in the official gazette available on the <www.bpz.hr> include the description of the Coat of Arms and the flag: Statut opcine Podcrkavlje, 22.12.2005, Službeni vjesnik Brodsko- posavske županije, br. 22/05, 23.12.2005.
The coat of arms of Podcrkavlje is: gules in the base a massoned lime- stove with semicircular doors with flame or issuant and in the chief two arrows argent in slatire with arrowheads downwards. This, I guess, represent the traditional inductry of Podcrkavlje, lime production.
The flag is red with the coat of arms in the middle. It is not stated that the Coat of Arms is bordered yellow, but may well prove itself that it is..

From the poster: "Likovna rješenja službenih grbova odobrena od Ministarstva uprave a na temelju pozitivne ocjene od Povjerenstva za odobrenje grba i zastave", poster, 4 str, Heraldic art d.o.o. Rijeka (2006), I can now provide the drawings.   The coat of arms of Podcrkavlje is gules in the base a massoned lime-stove with semicircular doors with flame or issuant and in the chief two arrows argent in slatire with arrowheads downwards. The flag is red with the coat of arms in the middle. The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art company, and they were approved by the Central State Office for Administration, I estimate around 2000.
