statutes include the description of the coat of arms and the flag
that must have been adopted a few years back. The coat of arms of
Klakar is: argent on a mount vert a Croatian border guard
stantant with a cap sable feathered argent, jacket azure,

Tomislav ipek pointed me out to the new web site of the Klakar
community where the coat of arms is shown.
Klakar is a community in the Slavonski Brod and Posavina County,
some 10 km east of Slavonski Brod
along the Sava River. About 2,500 inhabitants, although the
community center counts only about 300. It was formed in 1993 by
the new teritorial division (formerly being part of Slavonski
Brod community), at first covering a bit more territory, but in
1997 two setlements closest to Sl. Bord (G. and D. Vrba) seceeded
to form community of Gornja Vrba. The bordering river of Sava is
also the state border, and has been so for ages - the frontier
guardsman shown in the coat of arms recounts on this tradition
during the period of protection from the Ottoman Empire.

The new 2009
statutes (Statut opcine Klakar, 13.08.2009, Slubeni
vjesnik Brodsko-posavske upanije, br. 12/2009, 14.09.2009)
repeats the 2006 statutes word for word in the description of the
symbols.
An otherwise unrelated document
of the community web site includes a tiny drawing of the coat of
arms, however as a vectorized drawing.
