Overview

The coat of arms of Svetvincenat is azure a tower with slanted base and embattelments argent. It reporesent the casle of Grimani that is the base of the town, built in 13th century and rebuilt to its present shape in 1589, when the same coat of arms carved above the fort entrance may have been made already. The flag is light blue with the coat of arms bordered with white off- set towards the canton.   The distance from to to the coat of arms is one units, from bottom and from hoist being two units. This seems to be regular thing for a number of flags in Istria that are in style different from the artwork of Heraldika from Rijeka. In that batch of flag I have located name of the designer's company only in one case (MOD d.d. Pula), but this may be indication that the flag are designed by one and the same person.
